Are the u-joints serviceable on my stock 2003 Rubicon front drive shaft?

Rick, from what I know, the diff end are standard serviceable. The T-case side is one of those double u-joint units, forget what they are called right off, (double Cardin?), but that end would be a bit trickier. They're spring loaded. A previous mechanic of mine once recommended replacing the drive shaft before rebuilding that end. A custom shaft ain't all that much.

The guys at Big O, said to get a new shaft as well. But I was wondering whether to have someone rebuild it, get a new one or just find out what others have done. Mine was in the process of getting louder and louder, so I pulled it. Hopefully it doesn't snow anytime soon. It feels like I gained some horsepower too. Cheap easy mod!

4wheelparts told me it would cost 150-250 for a rebuild. Is this accurate? What do you guys think? I'm leaning towards getting it rebuilt...

Why would you waste money on a rebuild when you can just get a much stronger one from RE or Tom Woods for around $300?
