Hello All ! My name is juno and my wife and i have been wanting to join a jeep club for about a year now..i have checkd your site out as a visitor in the past and now am a member of the forum..I think my biggest concern is that my rig is TOTALLY stock. It is a 97 tj. I have plans to lift it and have body armor , winch , cb etc etc...it is my daily driver for now so its going to be a slow build...I am like the subject says "newbie" to the jeep world so all the tech stuff is confusing yet interesting to me.Im not asking for hand outs but any help or advice in any way will definately increase my knowledge. We are a friendly family oriented couple with 1 child together and i have 2 others from a previous relationship..Im a native of Colorado and I have fished , camped , hunted and driven thru most of our beautiful state. We now want to experience it on a different level.

Hi Juno: I'm new to this site too, and my current jeep is y daily driver and mostly stock too(but I'm on it!!). If you don'thave them already, Charles Wells writes some really good guide books with lots of trails suitable for stock vehicles. www.funtreks.com. He has 2 for Colorado and 1 for Moab. I like www.jeepforum.com for tech stuff, and stu-offroad.com for TJ tech. The only negative thing I've found is that one person on a forum makes up something and 20 others swear to it, so it pays to research stuff.

Hi Juno. Paul's given you some pretty good information. We'll likely be running some trails this spring that are doable in stock rigs. Just need to wait for the snow to melt. Keep an eye on the Upcoming Events.

Juno - Also, if you're looking for information on trails, TrailDamage.com is awesome. Their site provides detailed information with directions, reports, pics and videos, and even Google mapping - on more trails than I knew existed. Really great site. When I'm looking for information on a trail, that's my first stop.
