Page 1 of 2 Old Chinaman's Gulch, Near Buena Vista, Co.
On The Rocks Jeep Club - October 16, 2010
Run by: Tom, Kevin, Don and Roy
The entrance to the trail is located just east of Johnson Village and approximately 1.5 miles south of US 285, on County Road 301. Traveling south on 301, just past the Department of Corrections signs, there's as gate on the left side with an OCG sign. This gate leads to another gate approximately one mile east of 301. This puts you in a large open area that leads to Old Chinaman's Gulch and Carnage Canyon. There's plenty of room for airing up/down and what not.
Once again, we were photographically challenged for this trip report. Tom's camera was dropped onto a large rock, rendering it inoperable It was only like three feet. I mean, C'mon.. I got video off my camera, but my card became corrupted before getting the pics off of it, and Kevin's camera's card is now blank. So, once again, we don't have a bunch of pics to display. Here's the only pics of this trip, salvaged from Tom's camera. Click thumb for full size image.
