Waldorf Trailis a 4x4 trail 2.5 miles behind Georgetown Colorado on the way to Guenalla pass. The trail in good weather is easy but with snow this changes. The trail is well marked and on the right side of the road. Everyone gathered for a 9:00 am breakfast in Idaho Springs prior to leaving for Georgetown.

After breakfast the 12 vehicles gathered at the A&W down the street. Then headed to Georgetown where we all aired down and head to the trail.

image2
After airing down everyone lined up to begin the trail.

Kirby Patrol 2 moves up to the lead in his YJ and everyone finds a spot with Mike and Pam Patrol 2 taking the tail gunner spot in there YJ.

Heading down the trail is Travis Patrol 2 in his 90 XJ

Typical part of the trail as we take the harder route the left fork in the trail.

Rick coming up the same hill in his CJ5 Tuxedo.

Finally Mike Patrol 2 coming up the hill.

As the snow became deeper and the mountain steeper Hanna Patrol 2 needed to be strapped by Richard and Sherry in their 69 Commando.

Continuing up the trail.

Kirby runs into a little problem with a tree blocking the path.

image13
Figuring out what to do.

image14
Mike's saw sure came in handy. The tree was cut and pushed out of the way.

Mark and Sherri Patrol 6 in there 2003 Rubicon waiting for their turn to cross the creek. Just can't to use the new long arm.

Aron Patrol 2 getting his 61 Willy's station wagon across the first creek. This was the hardest obstacle.

The 8274 Warn winch gets Rick across the creek.

Getting everybody together to turn around.

image21
The trail down was a lot easier than coming up.

image22
Unless you try to make it harder and get stuck.

image23
The end of the trail everybody gathering till all are down.

Mark and Sherri's Rubicon did great on the first trip with the new suspension. There was no damage to any vehicles on the trip and no breakage. There was one other vehicle that we did not have a picture which was 92 YJ that Vick was driving. Thanks again to patrol 2 for a great day and a good trip.
