Iron ChestJeep Trail is a 7 rated trail with the rocks removed from the bottom part of the trail. The trail is one way and is only about 2.5 miles long. To get to the trail take 285 to Nathrop head west on County Rd 162 15 miles than turn left on Hancock road 295. At about a 1/2 mile you will see a parking area on the left this is the entrance to Iron Chest. Since the trail is extremely narrow and there are not many places to pass you normally go up the trail in the morning and return in the afternoon.

Unfortunately we had to come back down. The trail is one way so we retraced our steps to the bottom
A fun trail with some obstacles but will be much better when the rocks are replaced. We all completed the trail with no breakage and had a great time.
