Old Farts Run (Old Chinaman's Gulch)

This was listed by me in the Forum under Trail Talk and at the Feb. meeting, I had been asked to put it up on the Activities List, so here it is.

 

This is an annual run that Al (DaJudge from CO4X4.org started in 2007) and originally was for off-roaders 40+ years of age. Since than it has been open up to all ages, but letting everyone know that this is a relaxed trip. Year after Year Dee & I have wanted to go (even thou we are much younger then that ), but something has always got in the way . Not this year, we're going to make it and use it for a shake out on the work I will be doing on our rig this Winter.

I thought that it would be a great trip to check things out prior to all of us going out to Moab and if there was a weak link in a rig , we would still have the April Wrenching party to take care of it!

The Dates are April 2nd (Sat) and 3rd (Sun) (We will be doing it on the 2nd) and the group will be hitting the trail at 10:00 so I had planned on leaving Aurora around 6:00 AM, taking the 285 route (130 Miles).

Year after year this has been listed as a GREAT run and no one has ever complained about the number of rigs that show up.
